Medical Office REIT’s Oklahoma City Purchase Was One of Four It Closed in Third Quarter

Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. has purchased a medical office building in Oklahoma City that’s adjacent to Integris Health’s Baptist Medical Center, the company said in its third-quarter earnings report.

The medical office REIT acquired the property from Lauridson Properties LLC for $4.1 million. The deal closed in late September. Lauridson originally acquired the property in 2015.

Located at 3300 NW 56th St., the medical office building totals 29,326 square feet and was constructed in 1987. At the time of the sale, the property was about 77% leased.

Healthcare Realty Trust’s purchase in Oklahoma City was one of four medical office buildings it acquired throughout the third quarter totaling $78.7 million, the company said in its latest earnings report.

The other three buildings it acquired include a 30,000-square-foot building in Houston on the campus of Houston Methodist’s Sugar Land Hospital, which it paid $13.5 million for, and two medical office buildings totaling 116,000 square feet in Los Angeles that’s adjacent to the Huntington Hospital, which it paid $61.1 million for.
