Dealership Pays $2.5 Million for New Location
David’s Sports Center, a full-service marine dealership, is relocating its Oklahoma City headquarters to 5000 W. Reno Ave. as the company continues to expand.
The dealership acquired the Reno Avenue property from Capital Automotive Holdings LLC for $2.51 million.
The dealership’s previous location was at 6301 NW 10th St. in Oklahoma City, where the company had been housed since 1971. Its new location totals 84,149 square feet across four buildings and 10.59 acres. The property’s main building has a large showroom with 25-foot ceilings.
David’s Sports Center required more room for its expanding business, “and this property fits the bill perfectly,” David Ecker, owner of the namesake dealership, said in a statement. “We are very excited to offer our employees a bigger, more consolidated workspace, better parking and a location that is easier to get to and much more functional.”
“This property is a great fit for David’s Sports Center as it fronts Reno Avenue and has visibility from I-40,” Randy Lacey said in a statement. “The large showroom is perfect for a premiere boat dealership and will allow David’s Sports Center to better service their clients.”
