Oklahoma’s first PGA Tour Superstore is taking a swing at bringing golf-themed experimental retail to the Oklahoma City market after taking over a building once housing a culinary school. Peer organizations named it the Lease of the Year.
In opening the PGA Tour Superstore last September, the retailer filled an otherwise vacant space once housing the Platt College School of Culinary Arts at 2727 E. Memorial Ave. in Oklahoma City. It also brought PGA-certified instructors and club fitters to the region. The store has two fitting bays, three practice and play bays, and a putting instruction bay and putting green, according to media reports.
About the Property: PGA Tour Superstore signed a lease for more than 30,000 square feet on Memorial Avenue. This location is the retailer’s first in Oklahoma and brings a wide range of golf equipment, apparel and accessories to this region.
